Cricket Still On

TDCA has confirmed all cricket is still on, with our first and second grade teams at Scully and Chaffey.

Thirds have been moved to Riverside 7, and Fourths have been moved to Riverside 6.

CUCC Teams vs North Tamworth Saturday 10th December

City United teams to play North Tamworth in round 7 One Day match this Saturday 10th December. All players are requested to be at there respective grounds by 1230pm. Both players and supporters are welcome back to Tamworth City Bowling Club for a refreshing drink after the days play (Reminder that CUCC Christmas party is on at 7pm this Saturday evening with bare foot bowls at Tamworth City Bowling Club) - any late unavailabilities please ring your captain ASAP. Best bowling: Matt Walter 3/28 off 8 overs; Jake Philp 2/21 off 8 overs.
The team needed to have batted out the overs and scored more runs to make for a closer game.

Second Grade
Old Boys won the toss and batted first.
Best bowling: Brock Hawley 2/20 off 8 overs; Pat Dwyer 2/18 off 6 overs; Simon Bellamy 2/1 off 2 overs.
In reply, City made 8/103 in 26 overs and earned a bonus point.

City United Christmas Party - 2011

When: Saturday 10th December
Time: From 7pm
Where: Tamworth City Bowling Club (Napier St)
Format: Casual
Costs: $5 per head or $10 per family

All players, families & supporters are invited to come along and celebrate the festive season with a game of bare-foot bowls.

First grade players will be required to supply the salads. Second grade are asked to bring along a dessert. Third Grade will need to provide the nibbles and Fourth grade will be responsible to cook the BBQ.

There will also be a lucky door prize of a Christmas hamper.
