Pizza Night
Our club will be having a Pizza Night back at our major Sponsor the City Bowling Club after Saturday's matches. No matches have been won or lost, all are in the balance, lets push hard for all four this weekend.
All you eat, $5 each or $10 a family. There is only one place to be this Saturday night.

Last Sunday Scott De Weymarn topped scored with 40 runs for
the Tamworth side. The week before our Ben Semmier took three important wickets
for the Tamworth Gold side against Gunnedah.
In school boys cricket Ryan Hansen was school captain of the Farrer 1st XI in their match against Quirindi. Ryan hit 104 runs off just 98 balls and our Patty Dwyer hit 61 runs off 53 balls. They put on a second wicket partnership of around 120 runs to set up a match winning target.

City lost the toss and were sent out to field. Wests were dismissed for 167 runs in the 49th over.
Best bowling: Julian Hulbert 5/28 off 12.4 overs; Jack McVey 2/27 off 7 overs; Jake Philp 1/39 off 12 overs; Richie O’Halloran 1/51 off 13 overs.
In reply City are 3/88 off 28 overs at stumps on day 1. Best batting: Simon Toyer 46 runs N/O (& not playing this weekend – to be replaced by Jade Thompson); Scott de Weymarn 22 runs N/O.

That’s right, City will be holding a fielding session today Tuesday from 5.30 till 6.30 at No 1 oval. All are welcome to attend. You might be selected in the team as a batsman or as a bowler but we all spend more time throughout the match as a fieldsman. Bring your running shoes, your City training singlet, a hat and a drink of water.
