The Fourth Grade mascot, Duckie has survived the Christmas period and will be there on Saturday in support of his beloved 4th Grade team.
City prides itself on being a true club, not 4 individual teams. We play for the club not for a specific team or grade, throughout the season there will be movement of players within the grades both up and down but always playing for City, that’s what being a part of a club is all about. Best of luck to everyone for the weekend matches.
GOOOOOOO BBQ back at the club after the matches CITY

What does it mean to me to be a part of City.

We are all part of this wonderful club, like the cricketers before us and the cricketers that will follow.

  We wear our colours proudly.

We rejoice in our victories and learn from our mistakes, we part with our sweat and give till it hurts.
During our time we enjoy the mate ship, we learn from others, to grow into someone that we inspire to be, we laugh & smile, we play to our best and see it through to the end.
That’s what it means to be a part of City.               GOOOOOOOOOO city city city CITY

How hard can it be.

City United purchased new BBQ which came in the form of a flat-pack. Never fear we have the right boys on it. Firstly we unpacked it and threw the box and the instructions away.
AfgterAfter an hour of trying to get all the pieces to fit, we decided find the instructions and to read them.

After another hour of reading and trying to make sense of the instruction.
Finally. There you have it, a new BBQ ready to be fired up. But who's job was it to bring the gas bottle.
GOOOOOOOOOO How do you keep your husband from reading your e-mails?
Rename the mail folder "Instruction Manuals." CITY

About Good Sports
“Cheers, mate!” It’s an Aussie tradition.
Sporting clubs of all size and description benefit from a greater focus on young people and families.
Displaying the Good Sports logo sends an important message to club members and the community. It shows your club promotes a responsible attitude towards alcohol, provides a smoke-free environment and that it aims to provide a safe environment for players, members, families and supporters. It means that your players and members can celebrate wins, commiserate losses and share a drink with each other safely and responsibly.
Good Sports is one of the most well-established, well-researched prevention programs operating at a national level. From its beginnings in Victoria in 2000, the Good Sports program has grown to become a trusted and respected national program involving over 5,000 community sporting clubs across every state and territory and reaching over 1.5 million Australians.
Once a sporting club signs up to the program, a Good Sports Project Officer assists the committee to work through the entire process. To progress through the accreditation levels, the club committee agrees to meet specific standards, level 3 accreditation is the highest level in the program.
