A Dentist visit while on Holidays.

Our President and his wife interrupted their holidays to go to the dentist.
Our President's wife was so angry with this interruption to their week away. She stormed into the Dentist reception room and said "I want a tooth pulled, and I don't want any pain killers because I'm in a big hurry," she said. "Just extract the tooth as quickly as possible, and we'll be on our way."
The dentist was quite impressed. "You're certainly a courageous woman," he said. "Which tooth is it?"
Our President's wife turned to our President and said, "Show him your tooth, dear."
GOOOOOOOOOO good luck on the weekend, gentlemen CITY

What a wonderful performance from our terrific 3rd Graders.

Trent with his father Glen who was a long time City player also.
Our 3rd Grade team lived up to their tag as being “Terrific” by winning both their 20/20 matches on Saturday. It was a wonderful team performance in both matches, where the bowlers continually took wickets. Our 3rd Grade captain Trent Balderston was delighted by the team’s fielding in both matches during a very hot afternoon, he was also very impressed by his batsmen who were in total control chasing down the small totals in each match. .

The two wins have leapfrogged our 3rd Graders into 4th spot in the overall competition and 2nd spot in the One-Day competition giving them every opportunity to play in the One-Day final if they can beat Bective this weekend.

GOOOOOOOOOOOO exciting time for CITY

"The day was a win for us because we beat one of the top sides"

Peter Mead and his men had a wonderful afternoon after beating the One-Day leaders in Old Boys in the second 20/20 match. After falling short by 20 odd runs in the first match, our boys regrouped and played some very good quality cricket to beat Old Boys in the second match of the day.
Simon Toyer once again showed his class with a nice 44runs in the first match and then a delightful 51 runs in the second match.

Other batsmen to shine on the day were Ryan Hansen how scored 30 runs and Richard “I always look good” O’Halloran who put on a classy 44 runs of his own in the second match.

Simon Toyer has had his photo is most Monday editions of the Northern Daily Leader, the reason could be Simon is coming third in the NDL Best & Fairest Table with 11 points, two behind the leader. Well done Simon and may your outstanding form continue.
In the bowling department Dan Lawrence was the stand out, picking up three wickets in both matches. A great team performance from a side that always turns up ready to perform at their best.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO our 1st Grade side does our Club proud every week. CITY
