Who is he?

Who is this City player hiding in the shadows? He was down at Cricket house yesterday morning cooking up a storm of bacon and eggs.   His plays 2nd Grade and is their Vice Captain. He looks after all our training equipment and he told me he is only a week away from being in good form with the bat.

GOOOOOOOOOO Johnny CITY

We are ready to play they both announced.

While watching the finish to our 1st Grade match on Saturday I saw Garry Whale (Yes he was wearing his Roosters jersey). He was in conversation with our club President Anthony Fitzgerald, both men have had heart problems recently.

It was wonderful to see both men looking so well as both men turned to me and announced we are ready to play again.

Their experience and ability to bat for long periods of time will be a welcome asset to our 3rd Grade this weekend.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Garry please leave your Rooster’s jersey at home CITY

Bloody left handers.

I had an opportunity to watch a fair bit of our 3rd Grade side on Saturday at Belmore Park. It was wonderful to see Cory Callcott (a shirt sponsor) having the whites back on and playing.
Robby and his son Brody Gregg were there as well having a game while 4th Grade has its midseason extended break.
Unfortunately it was another left handed batsman that took to game away from City. Our 3rd grade side must have a left handed batsman curse, as it is the second match in a row where a left hand batsman has taken the match away from them.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO big match this weekend against bective CITY
