City United has an obligation to the TDCA in the conduct of the camping grounds at Riverside during January and the Country Music Festival.
Part of that commitment is the manning of one of the gate to the camping grounds on a roster system. Our first turn is this Saturday, 9th Jan. We are rostered on for 24 hours from 6:00am. The roster requires two people to regulate the flow of traffic through one of the gates and collect money from patrons for a six hour shift.
We therefore need to find 8 club members or their parents (all volunteers must be at least 18 years of age) to complete the four shifts (6am to midday, midday to 6pm, 6pm to midnight and midnight to 6am). The secretary was advised of this today.
If you can help, please contact Lango via text or email, before Wednesday afternoon. He is currently on holidays and will be back in Tamworth later in the week for a few days but is prepared to organise the crew.
ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS VOLUNTEER. Perhaps if we get more than we need we can cut the shift lengths?
