City players will be making their mark on the Representative stage on Sunday.

City’s Ben Semmler and Jack McVey have been selected to represent Tamworth in this Sunday’s War Veterans Cup clash against Gunnedah on Sunday.

City players are making their mark in the local competition as well. Looking up Mycricket I was pleased to find that City United is running second in the Club Championship 20 points behind Norths. City has Jack McVey and Julian Hulbert in the list of the top ten bowlers who have taken most wickets in 1st Grade. In 2nd Grade we have Simon Bellamy in the top ten. In 3rd Grade we have Lachlan Cooke, Brett Walsh and Andy Jarrett. In 4th Grade we have Terry Skewes and Tom Fitzgerald.
Batting we have Sean Hancock sitting just outside the top ten batsman for the most runs scored for 2nd Grade, in 3rd Grade we have Mr Peter Mead, Terry Kampe & Cory Callott and in 4th Grade we have Anthony Fitzgerald.
The season is a long one and this weekend will test us through all Grades but it’s so nice to have such a positive start to the season. Keep focus on our club “GOAL” for the season, all four Grades to play in the Semi-Finals.
GOOOOOOOO congratulation on your personal achievements which could not be possible without your fellow team mates CITY
