“We jumped into 4th
spot by losing the match” was the greeting I received from Robby Gregg when I
went to watch some of our 2nd Grade match on Saturday. Robby was referring
to our Mighty Fourth Grade side’s final match before Christmas in which they had
a narrow lost to Norths. City received one point for the match while Souths
received no points at all after giving their opponents bonus points. Meaning
our 4th Grade side has leapfrogged Souths into 4th spot on
the ladder.
Son shows dad how it is done.
In the same match Robby Gregg's son Brody showed his dad how it is done by taking
three wickets in 2nds, it was an outstanding effort from a young player on his way
up.
Both Robby and Brody will be
looking for the recommencement of the 4th Grade competition on Saturday
week, 4th February.
GOOOOOOOOO our youth is our future CITY
