City United's Life Member
Frank Gooley was a special guest at our Presentation Night. Frank was presented
with a framed photo of himself in his playing days. Frank is the best opening
batsmen I have ever played with or against. His playing time with City extended
from 1975 through to 1998 in his final match Frank went out in style, with
another hundred next to his name.
Frank might have represented
passed players but our future City stars were there in force as well. This
group of young men all played their first season of Grade Cricket with City
this season. They loved it and matured as cricketers as the season progressed.
