I realize that I have asked alot from our players this season especially players from our 1st and
2nd Grade squads.
City lost a large number of
players from last year’s 1st Grade team and as a result I have asked
many players this season to play in a Grade higher then what should be asked of them. I have received no complaints from our players over this issue and I am
greatly appreciative of this.
To both Peter Mead in 1st
Grade and Mark Fisher in 2nd Grade who took the captaincy roles during
trying times, you are a credit to our club. You both have brought your
teams together, both teams are competitive on the field and you have formed a close team bond off the
field.
Our Third Grade side have
played themselves into the Semi-finals. Trent and his squad should be congratulated
for this achievement.
Our mighty Fourth Grade side under
Anthony are playing some amazing cricket without the results going their
way. They are still in mix with the final match to be played.

approaching, I wish everyone all the very best of luck.
