Our 3rd Grade side has played it's way into the finals.

Tim came of age with his batting on Saturday.
Our 3rd Graders needed to prevent South Tamworth from winning out-right to secure their place in the finals. Souths had amazed a massive score of 316 runs and had the young City side four wickets down for a small total after the first day's play.
On Saturday the remaining City batsmen knew what they had to do, bat a long period of time and take the out-right win away from Souths.
That's what this young side did Tim Paynter batted for most of the day's play for his 52 runs. Eddie Beattie also batted superbly for his 47 runs. Towards the end of the Innes out walked Josh Miles who just blow the Souths bowling attack apart with his 39 not out off 17 balls.  The City side finished their innings on 257 runs.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO go you good thing CITY
