City players are rewarded by being selected to be part of the representative scene.



Simon Toyer is looking forward to his two big matches this weelend.
City has two players selected for Senior Central North Zone side when it plays its Country Championship in Ballina from Friday, November 21.
City’s opening bat Ryan Hansen who starred for the CNZ Under 19s in their Country Championship win at Coffs Harbour and City’s & Tamworth’s young paceman Jack McVey will spearheads the bowling attack.  

 On Sunday the Tamworth Blue side has the potential and leadership to win the Country Shield in front of a home crowd this year.
The side is brimming with talent and has a date with Gunnedah at No 1 Oval on Sunday in the third round.
Throw in City's captain Simon Toyer and seasoned opening bowler Ben Semmler, as well as in the inform all-rounder Richie O’Halloran
If the side can beat Gunnedah it will be one more win away from a home semi after Christmas, with Tamworth to host the finals.
The 50-over match will start at 10am at Number No1 oval.
